The Spunbond Charitable Foundation, together with Garnier, implemented a project to install an 80 kW solar power system at Lubny Intensive Care Hospital.
Lubny Intensive Care Hospital is a key healthcare facility serving the Lubny district and surrounding communities. In 2025 alone, the hospital provided medical care to more than 145,000 patients, while its doctors performed nearly 3,700 complex surgical procedures.
The new solar power system provides the hospital with an additional reliable source of electricity, helping ensure the uninterrupted operation of critical medical equipment even during power outages. Solar generation will also reduce electricity costs, allowing the hospital to direct more resources toward developing medical services and improving the quality of care.
This project marked the tenth stage of the “Powering Hospitals” charitable initiative, which brings together businesses, philanthropists, and millions of Ukrainians around a shared goal — strengthening the energy resilience of healthcare facilities across Ukraine. As part of the initiative, every Garnier product purchased contributes directly to supporting Ukrainian hospitals.
